Find it hard to believe that JDN would get the rest of the car that dry, including the tires, and miss that. He also obviously moved the car if he had washed it because the ground is totally dry.

Hmmm. Inconclusive? Now you fellows have me guessing. First, it is not a wheel weight. Also, I doubt that it is water although the pictures did follow a cleaning. My guess would be that it is some residue from an overzealous dressing of the sidewalls with a foam applicator and some Armor All.

They really are not very noticeable in black. IMO, they would stand out more if painted.
