Anyone try painting the mud guards to match their body color?

I'd like to add them but don't like the look of the black color against the titanium silver body color.

Well, Jimbo, we've already got black tires with titanium silver wheels and we've got black trim with the SP. The mud flaps get dirty anyway and really look OK when clean. When dirty, they still look better than mud sprayed along the paint.

Colour coded mudflaps are reall bad looking......I think you call it 'riced' in the states but here in UK, its really only the Max-Power boys that do that.

Here are a couple of pictures that I took right after installation. They really are not very noticeable in black. IMO, they would stand out more if painted.

Jimbo, there is another picture of the black flaps on the titanium silver in my profile. Did not think of that one earlier. These flaps are very subtle, nothing like flaps of old. They are even less noticeable than those on my E39.

Hey JDN,

I noticed that you have your balance weights mounted on the front side of the wheel, instead of concealed, back side. Did the car come this way, or did you change tire and re-balanced them?

I'm going to bet that the "wheel weight" in JDN's picture is really just a puddle of water -- he probably washed the wheels right before taking the picture.
