Biggest Wheels that are able to fit on XI model

Guys - You don't have to care, but here's the thing...
PM DAS(Admin) or Bambi and ask them. Their set-ups are as follows:
DAS: 18" OEM 124 (ET 43, ET 55) with no issues with the staggered set up. Running OEM with the correct offset.
Bambi - Had been running 19" Breytons with the E46 offset and it rubbed. Switched out to custom 19" Staggered HRE's with the correct custom offset. No rubbing, no issues and his AWD runs perfect in the winter.
Click on the link I posted earlier. BMW wouldn't offer OEM 18's in a staggered, high offset wheel set up, if it wasn't feasible. As for 20's, you can probably go even higher. It's all about the correct offset as I said earlier. Our wheel wells are the same size, but it's all about the clearance between the inside of the wheel and the strut housing. This will also show how far the outside of the wheel edge will extend or retract.
Check out 1010tires.com and use their wheel offset calculator. Run the numbers with a 20" or even a 22" wheel, but make sure you use the correct offset. That's the key.
Only real reason I want those to know is for those that have an xi model. Be weary and careful of the correct offset, regardless of how big you want to go. Even with the staggered set up.
