I have the hifi model. i actually have the signal summing module. i installed it after the system was done. i didnt know i was going to need it. I have the front , rear and sub output from the radio going into the summing module. the bmw radio output is not full range, i figure it out after everything was install. i like the hub, but feel like theres better and cheaper options now than when i did my system. If i had do do everything again i would go another route.

I think that you did fine so long as you did not all ready have a navigation unit. The stand alone Alpine navigation is expensive. However it is so much better than the factory one you could argue it an upgrade. Also I just noticed you not only had the vehicle hub pro but also have the Sound processor. That is a smart move with the sound processor, it adds sound quality with the 4v output compared to 1v and also 110db s/n ratio compared to the vehicle hub's 65db s/n ratio! Yeah, I know that's crazy right, but check the specs from Alpine I am not kidding. Also one note about the sound processor... you have full control over it from the vehicle hub so did you add the front display for looks or does it make the system easier to operate?

You have limited control on the Vehiclehub to control to processor. the GUI is not simple. Its a lot easier to control the processor with the display. really didnt want to put the display there but had no choice.

Marquies aka KU530 has the best system in the forum. He's an Audiojunkie, only buys and uses nothing but the best. Sinfoni Aamps, Alpine F1 processing and Rainbow Components.

heres some pics..
