Hmm from the pictures i saw on websites and from fellow forum members I thought this mod would actaully be brighter than the original angel eye. Actually the intensity is the same.. the color is just matched to the xenon headlights... It's a pretty pricy mod.. and thinking that the mod would have brighter eyes.. I still prefere the old amber over these. Does someone know how I could still get the amber color but with more intensity.. the headlights tend to drow the eyes out. Ideally I'd like the eyes to be just as easily distinguishable with the older 5 series angel eyes, or the current 7 series angel eye.

Yea I have the same problem with this as well

I saw some M3s on the street with a very very bright (yes i mean very very very bright) angel eye which looks even brighter than the xenon headlight itself, very distinguishable although the color is matching the xenon headlight

I would like to see something like that

I think those are the phosphyre halos on the M3s. I believe those are complete replacements of the angel eye rings, not just the bulb that lights them up. I don't think there are any vendors out there that make/sell those for the E60. Replacing those would also mean cutting apart your headlight assembly.

So would you recommend doing the Angel eyes 2.0 Mod?

I would. I think it looks so much better than stock. But I agree with what the others mean. When you have your xenons on, the white halo rings kind of blend right into the headlights. However, driving around with your AIB's on during dusk is awesome. Especially if you have your xenonmatch fog bulbs on at the same time. Then it really stands out.

Different plug. Unless you want to install a relay kit. Then you can pretty much rewire anything however you want.
