I'd recommend General Exclaims Ultra High Performance tires. It runs you $130/tire 245/35/19 front. There is no 285/30/19 from General Exclaims at all.
It's roughly 2.5X cheaper than PS2 and Yokohama.

The 19" General Exclaims come in 245/275s. You are right that they do not come in 285s.
I understand that they now make a 20" tire as well with staggered set-up.
I paid $125 (US) for the fronts and $150 for the rears. I like the tires. They have a nice feel in wet pavement. They feel a little soft (similar to my OEM 17" Contis), even though they are low profile. The grip is pretty good.

Here are the links to the reviews of the General Exclaim tire on TireRack. It seems that everyone makes the same comment. They were skeptical with the low price, but then when they put the tires on, they noticed that the tires were really nice.
