yikes.. this is round 2 for u .. lol.. I definitely cant do all that

why did u decide to go with ACM when u already have navwithtv module? any major benefits?

ACM kit = $650, Camera = $200, DVD player= $150, Installation = $350? === ouch!

ACM can control via iDrive and integrate into BMW system. That's the beauty of it. I don't have to worry about holding remote control and point to IR eye to switch b/w screens. Also, if I tap power to idrive screen, I'd have batter drain message. What I did was tapping to ACC power, but this will disable idrive screen when in ignition position 1 while I"m listening to music. This sucks.
Also, this has capability to accept front cam, rear cam, DVD, and TV, and to show battery voltage, coolant temp, amount of gas, etc. It's very nice.

$600 is a hefty price, but I bite the bullet. I'll reuse my Kenwood CCD-900 camera to save $150 until I can find a better one.
I already have Sony portable DVD player, so I just plug it in. No need for buying new DVD
Installation cost me $40 => $25 for Rountable pizza, $15 for wine cooler
Massage is free of charge
Tell me who would install back-up cam, DVD player and ACM for $350? Nah.

Well , when i contacted TVNav2go, they said they will do $450+$200camera+install=$999, so thats how i came up with $350 for install. May be ACM is more work their module.

ACM involves more works including open up center console to plug in iDrive controller adapter connector
Please go for navtv unit and someday you will know why you want ACM
I have been through 2 navtv units, and I just want ACM although I have to pay twice as much What you pay is what you get . Also, you need to remove all covers along the right side. With navtv, you don't have to.
Anyway, if navtv unit serves the purpose, go for it
I don't want to use two remote controls to watch DVD
I don't want BMW dealer blames my navtv unit cause a defect pixel

So how exactly did you connect up the dvd player without a proper RCA plug on the ACM module, did you end up modifying the A10 plug?

Yeap. I made special custom cable for myself to convert A10 plug to RCA
Each RCA jack has + and -. The "-" is the outter metal shield, and the "+" is the inner wire.
A10: Audio+ connects to inner wire of RCA, and Audio- connects to outter wire (the metal contact shield of RCA jack)
Do the same for Video signal. Hope it helps.
