It's still there.
If you want ACM module, freed0m has one available for sale. I'm taking it out from his car in the morning tomorrow.

It's still available for $675 including [Eclipse front view camera FEC106 ($250 value) + power supply BEC106 ($70 value)] + $33 shipping outside US. In US, it'll be ~$7 priority mail.

My Ride: 2006 Silver Grey E60 M5
I just installed my ACM unit yesterday. It took about 5 hours overall. The hardest part was figuring out how to remove the trim without any damage, and getting to the iDrive controller in the center console. The M5 center console is much easier to get into than my old M3, which was a pain.
I ended up putting the A10 connector in my glovebox, because that is where I am going to put in my DVD/TV player. I'm going to relocate the iPod apater and put in a Pyle PLTD25 DVD/TV Tuner combo there. It makes no sense to run the connector to the trunk, because when I want to put in DVD's I'll have to pull over and open the trunk to get to my DVD player.
I ended up using the spare parts to make a custom connector that goes from the A10 plug to RCA. Thanks to my530i and all the others who posted pictures and instructions, they came in very handy. Also thanks to Bruce Miranda for the unit, it works flawless. I just ordered the DVD player, and meantime I tested a video on the ACM with my iPod and it plays like a charm. The only thing I hated was not using BMW's DVB-T tuner. That damn thing costs $1300! The DVD player I ordered came out to $120 shipped. Even though I can only control the volume and not the channels is fine by me. I'll use the remote to switch between DVD/TV/AUX on the player and control channels.

Yes, you'll need a AV cable from iPod to ACM

So the ACM can play videos from the IPOD?

Can anyone make me a custom made video connector for the ACM or tell me exactly how to do it?
I want to let my dealer install it + the OEM rear camera.
I already have a video cable behind the Idrive screen which connects to my AV selector in the back so I only need the converter for the ACM.

My Ride: Carbon black 545i sport
Hi guys,
I've just finished retro-fitting the OEM Hybrid TV Tuner (I'm in the UK) and the Aux-in cable, to my 2005 545 and await reprogramming by my dealer (next week).
My question is, assuming all works well, are the A/V inputs on the white connector on the TV module available for reverse camera, DVD etc?
I've trawled the web and can only find reference to this connector in relation to the E39. I can only find modules which seem to offer A/V functionality for the E60 which are full blown video modules which (apart from the TV) kinda makes them a bit expensive if I already have the capability.
I'm even thinking about the ACM as a possible solution.
Anybody got any ideas?
Thanks
Alan
