can you tell what i will be missing with the adaptive function not working and will
it be difficult to set up the lights in correct direction

also will the auto leveling of the lights still work as i have noticed
that when i plugged in one of the new lights to the car that function stopped this
was without modifying any wiring

I dont' think auto leveling will work, this is done with the ALC module.

Also I think you will have to manually center the lights since they can be shifted left and right and if you dont' have the Adaptive controller you will have to do this manually, there is this small motor with a screw drive that does this and you can move it with your fingers to make the xenon assembly inside to point left or right.

I am waiting to get some free time to tackle this project myself, I already have all the parts required.

ive got xenon lights in my 2004 530i - but what are bi-xenon lights any pics?
