I'd buy another BMW and so would the OP. Allow me to respectfully say that no MB, Audi, etc etc would measure up. Some Acura/Honda products will a be acceptable and so would some Infinitis, but in reality, you'll miss the "BMW feeling" and eventually will be back. It sure does suck about your car having so many problems though - hang in there

The only way I will buy another BMW is if they offer non-RFTs and spare tire on their Xdrive cars. Maybe they should make this an option for those who don't want the "security" of RFTs.
BMW's moronic insistance of offering only run flat tires and removing the ability to carry a spare tire may push me to look at other makes. I have seen some sweet deals on 911's and Audi S4's lately...
I have one of the few cars that came with run flats AND a spare tire so it was no problem for me to switch to regular tires.

I wholeheartedly hope I will never drive anything other than a BMW from now on. I love my car and enjoy driving it every chance I get. Are they tempermental sometimes? Yes. Are they the most reliable? Probably not. But the car just fits me. For me there is nothing like my 5er - regardless of the issues that may occur (none really so far Thank God).

This is my first BMW that I've owned and I don't think I'll buy another. Same reason as OP, too much problems and not worth the headache. If and only if I ever decide to get a BMW again it has to be an M.

Don't get me wrong its a wonderful car without the problems and I LOVE driving it vs my g/f GS350. Who knows, maybe I just need a V10

BMW 1st MB 2nd unless finances allow for a Ferrari or something along those lines. I will never buy another Japanese brand after seeing the tinker-toy suspension components compared to the stout German brands.
