Wow, from the looks of this thread I've been incredibly lucky--so far.
Ordered 535xi on Sat. 9/8; got production number immediately
Checked OC on 9/10, got VIN
Car was completed 9/18--looks like I hit the production sched just right
Loaded on WW's "Faust" 9/20, ETA New York 10/4
I'm figuring 10 days to prep and deliver--that would be 10/15
Keep your fingers crossed for me!

My car has been finally released and on to the prep center. I spoke to my sales rep on Friday and she told me that she will call me when it's in their possession. At that point I have to bring in the other one so they can take the SAT radio out and put it in the new one. Oh we are so close.......
