2006 550i Nav issues

I just picked up a 2006 550i from my local dealer this past week and the first thing I noted was that the Nav DVD would not read. Has anyone else had similar issues? I am concerned that it is a bad DVD reader, which would mean replacing that section.

My Ride: 2004 545i, Nav, Logic 7, sport pkg, premium pkg, sport seats, Hoen fogs, rear LED tail lights, super white license bulbs, heated front and rear seats, M-tech front and rear bumper covers, M5 trunks spoiler and finisher.
Desiring euro xenon headlights.
Are you kidding us? An '06 550i that you just purchased with Nav issues AND you did not call or take it back to the dealer?
