Who makes the auto transmission, ZF, Getrag, General Motors?

The GM boxes are not what you think they are...definately not your typical old school turbo hydromatic 350. The are fully computer controlled just like the ZF transmissions. In fact, you take one of the French built GM transmissions to your local transmission shope and they will look at you funny. Uh, what is that? No, we can't fix it.
