Just re-initialize your window and watch how you're rolling the windows up or down because that is mostly like what is deactivating them.

121K here 04 530i... don't drive much anymore as I've been driving the GSXR and I'm about to buy a rust bucket truck

05 545i with 106k miles, no major problems in my 18 months ownership. Couple small leaks but otherwise as good as it was 6 years ago, even my mechanic commented how clean n perfect it is mechanically.

The car Is completely stock and in really good conditions inside and out. I've went against many cars at red lights and have punched it a couple times and the car feels nice and strong,it has never let me down. Hopefully it stays likes this until the 250,000 mark by then ill probably upgrade to something more like a 2011 550i or maybe m5 you'll never know. I love these cars!!!!
I work with a guy who has a 04 525 with over 190K and he's had no engine or drive train related failures. He did mention he had to get some new suspension components because it started feeling loose and sloppy. He keeps the maintenance up, heck even the interior is no worse for wear and he's no clean freak either, no rips in the leather, the wood is holding up well. He convinced me to buy one that had over 100K on it as well.

I'm not worried at all these motors are tanks, and properly maintained will last a long time. If you have to know I switched out of a 88 Mercedes 300E with close to 300k on the meter and it was not even smoking or missing a beat, I'm very pleased with these German products.

2010 535xi with 43,000 miles and just hit the 2-year anniversary. I've had both turbos, HPFP, and all injectors replaced (all different incidents). She's running like a champ now but the factory warranty is going to be up in about 6 months or so at the rate I drive. I have a Dinan tune and different dealers are telling me different things - my local dealer says they cannot honor an extended warranty since the car has been flashed, but other dealers say they would. I'd love to buy an extended warranty and keep the car for another 100k miles but given the 3 failures thus far I'm just not sure what to do.
