I see.
Probably a little longer but my journeys always allow my engine to warm up. I would never buy an "older" car with a low mileage - to me that indicates it may well have done the "wrong" kind of miles.

But itis hard to flip the miles or km on a BMW when itis a intel computer.
BTW I dont think you will find a HK car with normale or high milage.
the hole inland is about 25mile in lenth. not much place to drive around, just alot of twisted road and hill road for street racing.
the longest drive I done in HK is about 40miles and in a day the most is about 80 miles.
but back in UK most I done is about 500 miles in a day and that took me 10hrs.
I remember when I was a student I did about 3000miles month.

What *I* meant was that if a car has "low ANNUAL mileage" then the journeys may have been short or infrequent as the usage pattern was not optimal with consequent long term adverse effects on the engine and other components.

I know if you leave a car too long on the driveway, then like you say that car will F*ck up in no time.
so I alway drive it every week and not let it stand for more than 2 days
I know alot of people in HK leave there cars for months and that is not good for the car.
short journeys are OK that is what cars are design for long and short journeys, not just long but what a car is not design for is left on the driveway for weeks without moving or starting the engine.

Synthetic motor oils have been invented for no reason, least of all to extend the service interval.

My iDrive told me the change engine oils at 15.000 km and 1,5 years.
So I did.
