my 535xi really is starting to remind me of a hot stripper .. fun for a ride and sexy as hell to look at but full of issues , I was having a misfire & rough idle on a cold start a week ago , I was at 61k so plugs coils and walnut blast were overdue ,.. my faulty I forgot all about it I did them and dropped $880 for all the work and all bmw parts from Tischer, was not happy about that cost but fine got to pay to play car ran like a champ but had a stumble on cold idle for a few moments then goes away as car is warm.. plug #6 was blacker than the rest and smelly like gas but not wet.. leads me to believe injector on its way out they are the #261 injectors that per the recall did not qualify to be replaced but I read that these still fail regardless , so dropped another $800 for 6 injectors , Now $1680 out of pocket .. not happy same cost as a real real nice weekend in south beach Miami .. lots more fun than bmw stuff . Anyways when I got the car back I dumped a bottle of techron injector cleaner in the car as a hail merry im half way into the full tank of gas and the rough idle is gone.. as of this morning smooth as silk ?? wtf!! I don't get it , it was slightly warmer out today. Second guessing the injectors now ? wonder if I should hold on and send back its it goes away? car has no codes or CEL ??.. but check out the pics of my intake and how bad they were at 60k wonder if the tips of the injectors are coated in this buildup ? or just failing due to the heat and pressure they are always under

 

Clean the injectors and replace the gaskets and see if that helps if it comes back.

 

replaced all 6 injectors to new index 12 and car is like new smooth fast and no more ide stumble on cold start
