The never-ending seat-belt warning chime. Drives me CRAZY.
Put your seatbelt on?

Electronic indicators and the way you have to tip them same way as direction indicated to cancel. This is opposite to 'normal' indicators and just confuses until you get used to it. Why make something so std on all other cars so different?
You don't have to do it the same way to cancel. You can cancel them by flicking them the opposite way as well.

Unless you get this right, it goes into '3 flashes mode' in the other direction, whcih confuses people. You can turn '3 flashes mode' off in idrive, but then you lose the feature.

on long trips you need the liquids to keep your head clear, esp. in a performance car. that's where water bottles come in. can't put those anywhere except in French cars so then smaller bottles should go somewhere.

if non-performance mode such as traffic jams it's just good to have a fresh drink and a place to put that cup safely.

I still prefer the old school cupholder that worked for years in my Camaro. Its called a "passenger"

I love this question. It is entrenched in NA culture, that you must have a drink in your car while you drive.

Preferably a sugar rich, financially expensive yet nutritionally valueless one.

Personally, I never got cup holders either - until we got coffee stores on every corner here. Now I still don't get them as they are too large to hold espresso cups.

Awesome...You rarely see cup holders in Europe...only in the States. My dad gave same reason..."you cant fit a double espresso in a cup holder. Just doesn't work..."

I personally love mine (except the location of course). But then again, I'm an american.

I would feel sorry for the other drivers on the road if I didn't have my morning (sugar rich, financially expensive yet nutritionally valueless) coffee during my morning commute. It relaxes me.
