Easiest way is to use multimeter to find two pins that are not connected when you don't press the button, and connected when you do push the button...

Ok, I use multimeter and here's what I got:

From 2nd picture in my first post:
pin4 - red wire (+ aku)
pin6 - brown wire (- aku)
pin5 - blue wire
pin1 - yellow wire
When button is in position OFF led in button also is off, and signal is only in red wire.
When button is in position ON led in button is on, and signal is in wires red, blue and yellow.
Is it good?
If yes, which wire goes to pin 8,9,10 and to ground?

Also remember is that the oem button is a momentary switch.

I guess I'm late to this party, but I just completed this mod last week and am happy I did. I really did it for the stiffer steering wheel, but I didn't notice any difference. I did notice, however, much more aggressive throttle response and faster shifting (auto). I even chirped my tires from 2nd to 3rd which never happened before. Also, I think I'm the first to install the button on the gear selected itself right where my thumb rests. Oh and I'm driving a basic 2006 530i.

Nice! Sort of a stealthy look.
