I have the ACM Module (bought in Germany a couple of weeks ago)... However there is not installation instruction/manual in the box, where can I get one?
I have the German installation instructions. I hope this helps.

eba_acm.PDF

And the German manual:

Hi Iceman,

Could you please translate Section 12 into English?

Thanks in advanced.

Whoa... just called these guys up and they told me $1,000 for me to watch DVDs and that includes install...

How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?
Yeah, it's not cheap, hence the reason I don't have this mod. However, according to freed0m and my530i, there's a new module out that can play DVD's in your iDrive screen. I think the module runs around $600.

There are something about Service Menu, could you please translate it also?

Thanks.

Hey my530i

I suppose you know this, but I mention it again to spare us some precious time.
The manuals iceman posted are for partnr 65 50 0 418 002
The actual ACM module has partnr 65 50 0 431 544
Can you confirm you have the new one?
I guess the differences between both versions will be small.

Does someone has "a way" to access the BMW TIS database and search for the manuals of partnr 65 50 0 431 544.
I'm convinced this would help us a lot further.
Till then my contribution will stay low I'm afraid

I just mailed my BMW dealer with a request to send me the right manual picked from the TIS.
Curious if I'll get it.

My problem is after installation, the screen is offset by 1/3 to the right (1/3 of the screen on the right is blank).
I tried initialization process, but it still does not work.
I also have some warning or notice that the car is not in "Park". This is just an installation test that I did a couple weeks ago to see if ACM works. AUX needs to be re-retrofitted on my car since it was wipped out since last visit due to vehicle order reinstalled and software update.

Next week I'll bring my car to dealer for service and do installation again next weekend.

I'll keep you guy posted.
