i want to know if its possible to add a aux input to my 2004 545i. i have a cd changer now but i do not have logic 7. i want to keep the cd changer if possible but add a aux jack for my ipod. i dont care about viewing playlist or songs from car screen. i just want to hear the sound clear rather than us fm transmitter. how much would bmw charge if this is possibility?

There is a DIY for the AUX input. Do a search in that section. The stealer will charge a lot for that, so don't go there.
I wired my own aux input ( for use with my ACM ) however I still had to program the car for AUX to show up in the menu. The diy aux input is more of a cell phone audio interrupt and I think it only works for front speakers. As long as you are going to have to pay someone to program the aux, you might as well have them do the mp3 activation at the same time.
