Volume knob fell OFF!!

yes my volume knob just fell off. i put it back on and it just turns freely without adjusting the volume. does anyone know how to put this back on? im using my steering wheel to control volume right now. pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee help, freakin bmws are so ghetto....

I don't even think there is a volume knob on mine. I usually use the steering wheel control unit. Need to double check tomorrow.

I have lived with this problem for about 2 years now. It sucks, but thank goodness for the steering wheel volume control. The biggest kicker? You can't just buy a new knob, I've tried that. Its attached to the head unit so if you go to BMW the only solution is to buy a new radio which will cost about $2,000!!!!! I laughed my way home.

Hahaha thats funny, i thought i was alone on this problem.... but yea, mine dosent work either, so i use the steering wheel... but i might end up getting warranty soon for my e60... maybe they will fix it!

its not the knob that u need to fix, its the whole unit. u just wasted 13 bucks my friend.
