My rear view mirror sometimes vibrates while driving and I can't see things in it clearly.

Anyone else have this problem? Anything I can do to tighten it up?

Balance your rear wheels.

I'm having the same issue with my 2006 530xi. The car is going back to the dealer tomorrow for the 5 series recall so I'm going to have them look at it again. They couldn't reproduce it the first time (about a year ago) and it's gotten worse since. It's practically unusable at highway speeds on a slightly bump highway (most in MA after the winter).

I've noticed that it does stop vibrating if you touch it so definitely something loose in there. I'll let you know if they fix it. Ping me again in a week if you don't hear from me. I'll watch this thread.

I've also just got new tires (balanced of course) so I can eliminate that as the cause if they/I can't reproduce going forward.

turn down the volume on your big ass subs in your boot.

but seriously though, i have subs and even that isnt enough to make the rear view mirror vibrate.

must be some real jiggling you have down there and its not bugging you when driving?

i second the bent rim.
