Ventilated seats pumping out warm/hot air?

I believe they only circulate cabin air and not actually air from the AC ducts. I looked into retrofitting my car with these and basically all it was is perforated leather and fans built into the bottom of the seat. They pull from the bottom which theoretically is the coolest part of the car.
