Vehicle Start, Cold Start
#1
In the manual, its state not to leave the car idle for long and its suggestion is to drive the vehicle. I'm use to let the car idle, especially for a COLD start, for around 3-5 minutes. Do BMW 530i doesn't need to warm up? Let the oil lubricate the engine? Liquod warm up? Cooland to flow? What gives.

Idle speed is not fast enough to get all of the fluids moving around quickly enough.
It's better to drive at low rpm instead of letting the car idle.
This does not only apply to BMW's but to any car.

Hmmmm...I usually let the RPM idle first... When my car starts.....the needle is always above 1k and I let it stay until it idles at 500rpm before I start moving...
