V1 Hardwire Problem

Thanks Gents,

I re-crimped (sp?) the connector and it's working!

I just hoped I did'nt screw anything up

Oh and if youre screwing the ground connection into the roof of the car you should scrape the paint off to ensure you're getting metal on metal contact.

The V1 connector should work but the red connector is a more solid connection. I was afraid that if i kept trying to really clamp down on the blue connector in order for it to make a good connection i was going to go straight through the wire. Ive done this install on three cars so far and i found the red connector to be the best bet.
