I couldn't live without my fold down seats. My signs won't fit without the fold down seats.

I know it is not the same like ordering the car this way, but you can buy the anthracite trim and DIY or have your dealer install it for you.

Thanks Iceman. I had thought of that. It just seems to me I shouldn't have to do it that way. My first mod will probably be 20's with non-runflats though.

Yeah, you're right. You shouldn't have to DIY. I will never understand the BMW NA system. They should have the packages and then every option as a stand alone option. I hear so many ppl are not satisfied with the options... And, hey... different trim is really not hard, espacially since you can get the trim on US spec cars, but just not with the black nasca leather... Unbelievable...

BUT, firing the marketing department would be a good start though, im sure BMW AG could find some highly qualified replacements right here on this forum

I always found that to the case in most saloon/sedan seats.

Ya take a look here... on a E39. The two tone silver/gray is the fold down seat and the full black is non-fold down seat... you can see theres more padding on the non-fold down and the fold down is a lot flatter and less comfortable.
