Can you not special order? I saw somebody on another board is ordering Imola Red on his 545...he is in USA

That's a big difference on the E39! Is it true in our E60s that fold down seats have less padding?

Through BMW Individual you probably can... then you'll get this under your hood... very special

I don't think that we can order BMW Individual here in the States. However, we can sometimes order special exterior paint (like that E39 M5). But each request has to be approved by BMWNA. :bashwall:

Has anyone had any luck ordering a special paint color in the US?

Is the rear arm rest available in non-rear fold down seats?

The rear armrest is present on both versions of the seats.

On the E60, the difference between fold down rear seats and not, is minimal as regards padding. There is a slight difference where the fold down seats are hinged, but I doubt that would impair comfort.

I think the polar trim lookks damn good with the black Nasca. THe anthracite is too dark and tends to give the interior a monochromatic look; the poplar provides some contrast.

As somebody who has the combination (nasca black, poplar), I agree completely too...

Maybe there's less padding on the fold downs so the seats can fold down flatter.
