I can relate to Rudy. I lwas at the airport, left the car running, jumped out to help a friend load her luggage in the trunk...had to reach in to unlock the trunk, but did it so fast I didn't bend low enough and hit my noggin on the top of the window! I would have yelled out but there were too many people standing around and I didn't want to look/sound like a fool (even if I was!). Had to drive home with a bloody head and a big bump on my head.
Hahaha sorry I guess its not really funny but was it really bloody?

Really? I thought the double-pull was strictly mechanical and not something you can adjust via software...
I think its another regional thing. in the US it's probably not adjustible.. I've never seen it in iDrive and I dig though there all the time just to see if theres somthing i want to change and make things easier for myself.

The double pull is ALLWAYS there. Once a door is locked you have to double pull to open it. First pull opens the lock, second pull the door.
So, to have the double pull, the doors need to be locked.
The doors can be locked manually, or via idrive setting.
Since the doors an be locked through idrive once the car starts moving, the double pull feature is programmable through idrive.
All you need to do is tickk the box for "lock doors when driving"...
