Default Trans. Malfunction

2008 535xi 115,000mi.

So I got into a minor accident a few weeks ago, no mechanical damage but a few cosmetic issues. After I got it back I started to get a transmission malfunction message. In Michigan we have had some brutal cold. A few other issues have popped up as well.

I'll make a list because it's easier.
1. Car needed to be jumped to start last week
2. Occasionally get the battery discharge Amber
3. Every morning the clock resets
4. After driving for a bit then stopping the trans malfunction comes on
5. After that comes on it is slow to accelerate.

i am bringing it to my shop I have had work done before to have it looked at and fixed hopefully. Battery says it's from 4/17 I purchased the car used in 9/17. Thoughts on the real issue.

Check the alternator could be the voltage regulator going bad causing your battery to show a code

Check the battery and alternator. The E60 is a energy hungry car. And from a faulty battery or alternator can cause a lot of errors....
