Senza, I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of your 525 as I have with all my 3ers and now the 525. We're all members of a special class of cars and the E60s are vastly superior cars to most of the junk that's out there, regardless of what's under the hood. I love all of you, brothers and sisters. 100 or so? By your own admission I could have beaten you in my E46. Come on, man, please try to understand the point I am trying to make. Here are the facts: Equal drivers with equal size balls: The 545 will absolutely spank the 525/530 hands out. It will smoke it 0-60, it will smoke it 60-145, it will smoke it just sitting in the parking lot. It will absolutely shred the 525 to pieces. It will make the 525 its bitch and pass it around to its 545 brothers and even to the Hyundai Genesis friends just to spite. Agreed!

You may think there is no skill hitting the gas on the highway and reach your limiter, but until you have done it, you will never really know. Besides skills you also need some craziness (balls) and the understanding that you could land in jail, if lucky, and 6 feet under, if they ever find all the pieces of you body.

What I find it disturbing is that I hear many of our esteemed forum members ALWAYS putting down the 525 as a wimpy, little car, yet, by their own admission they will not go near 130 because they "value" their lives. Then, if they value their lives so much, they shouldn't be surprised if they get smoked by a 525 or 325 driver if he/she does not "value" their lives so much.

I love reading this forum and I share the love for BMW with all of you, but everytime people talk smack about my little engine that could, I take that as a personal attack. If people are not willing/able/capable of going past 145, it does not matter if they drive a 545, M5, Gallardo, or even a spaceship. I will pass them if they challenge me and will humble them with their bigger engines. If they have the balls to go higher than 145, then they will beat me in the 525 and that's that, after all, we're all limited by the tools we use.

I have never even said that the 525 is quicker 60-145. That's crazy! All I said was that if somebody challenges the 525 and then limit themselves to 130MPH, the 525 will eventually catch up, pass them, and pull away at the full 145MPH, may take a minute, may take 5 minutes, but logic dictates that an object moving at 145, will overtake an object moving at 130. What is so hard to believe? Do the math.

I thought this was a discussion forum. Why accuse people of lying if you don't even know them? For now take my word for it, then if we ever meet and I don't deliver, you can always come back to the forum and expose me as a liar.

I can tell you right now how this race will end. If you are willing to hit your car's limit, you will beat me. Period. No questions asked. It's the fact, the pure truth. I'm no superman and I don't have a super 525, if I did, it would be called 545 and not 525. On the other end, if you are only willing to go only to 130MPH, I will beat your 545, hands down, no questions asked. Again, doing the math 145 will always beat 130 regardless of year, make, and model. YES, the 545 is the superior car. I admit it. I am not denying this fact and I am not belittling people for driving it. It's a great car, vastly superior than ALL smaller BMWs, but at 130MPH it can be beaten by a number of smaller BMWs whose drivers are willing to push to their limits. 0 to 60? You will absolutely cream the 525. 60 to 130? You will absolutely humiliate the 525. You stay at 130 because you value your life while the 525 is willing to reach 145? Humble pie for the 545/M5/Vette/Porsche/rocket, etc. You decide to get your 545 past 150? Big bukkake pie for the 525. Unbelievable, but true.
