Update on TPM Malfunction ?
As noted in an earlier thread, water caused my TPM malfunction. The dealer service people found that the trunk seal had been damaged causing water to flood the wheel well in the trunk.
This damaged the TPM control module that is located under the trunk.
There was no charge for replacing the seal, the module and numerous reprogramming.
I open the trunk often to connect my float charger and never saw any water. This water was in the spare tire well and not visible in the trunk.
