i LOVE my AFE.I did not do a dyno, but there wwas no feeling of loosing power, it was more like feeling more power than anything else. Also the sound is great.

I do not believe in the scoop thing (RPI)(they still look nice). If I had to create a cold air duct it would be a true one made of carbon fiber and truelly forcing the air to the air box (just like the forced ventilation for the brakes)
In fact I saw one on a BMW race car and it was sweet.

i am going to try SIMOTA carbon air intake.. maybe next year i will install this, after my holiday.. its look like this


i am thinking to install my AFE for couple of months, since i miss those *ssuuushhhh* sound.. heuheuhe

mmmmmm SIMOTA are gorgeous. I wish they had one for the 550
