Steering Wheel Noise

My Ride: 2005 545i with Sport Pkg, Nav, HUD, Cold Weather Pkg, Rear Shades
I have been getting a noticeable noise from the Steering wheel during entry/exit (when it goes up or down).
It's the noise of the gears moving inside. Anyone else hear or notice this??
I don't think it happened before or else I would have noticed it.
Start of trouble to come??
