SQUEAKY DOOR SEALS??
I have had the same issue after the car was taken to a car care shop for a coat treatment. I think it's the treatment compound residue left between the door seal and the car body. Therefore I followed the advise here to buy a spray that will remove silicone cost me only USD7.5, spray some onto a clean cloth, wipe thoroughly the seal and the relavent body part and the squeaky noise is gone!

Don't spend the $900 at the dealer. Buy the parts from Garry @ Newport BMW with 25% discount and replace them yourself. Those seals are easy to remove, if you have seen the DIY for removing the chrome trims. Good luck.

I tried adding electrical tape to the areas shown on the picture and it works no more wooden ship sound.

Whereas, if I didn't have the teflon tapes put on by the dealers, I would probably hesitate to put the electrical tapes on because my car is blue!

I've always wondered if electrical tape would work!!! Well, good for you that it worked and it probably won't be THAT noticeable since your car is black!

Oh an update, when I took my car for oil service, the service advisor has applied this clear tape for me so the noise is gone permanently, free of charge

This is from my car... it is clear and the noise is gone permanently... but I just wanted to purchase some just in case for the future... but they were asking $200!
