SQUEAKY DOOR SEALS??
My dealer took their time to clean the rubbers and velvet parts of the doors (and the mating surface) with silicone remover/cleaner.
This was some months ago and it has been quiet since.
Only time a bit a a squeel returns is when I use a DIY carwash place. Apptly they use silicone based rinsing fluid.
If this happens I just use the BMW supplied silicone remover and it's quiet again.

I have an 05 and dealer replaced all seals. started sqeaking again and they put a black tape next to the seals and it's gone. evidently a BMW tape, didn't even know it was there until I washed it. Ask the dealer...should be a quick cheap fix. pm if you need more info

Mine was replaced under warranty
I think your only option is to pay the $900.

my car windows recently started squeeking. if i roll them down a litle bit, the noise goes away.
and funny thing is, last time i was at the car wash, i sprayed wax on the glass too.
either the glass edges have to be 100 percent clean, or the seals need to be conditioned with something. time to experiment.

Petroleum jelly every 3-6 months. It's the cheapest and most effective fix you will every come across. Apply it directly on the door seal (felt).

[Okay, I got my car back today from the dealer who fixed my window creaking problem. They did NOT replace the felt seal, just added some clear teflon tape on the door frame where the felt seal makes contact. Problem solved.

That is what I use and it seems to work. I've had to re apply once so far. I'm sure vaseline would work as well but this is so much cleaner and easier

Here is a link to a service bulletin on the issue: http://www.bmwtis.com/tsb/bulletins/bullet...mp/B510205g.htm
The bulletin provides a good description of the fix which you can do yourself-- just find a good silicon cleaner (Goof Off is probably fine. 3M sells a citrus based cleaner, too.) The Teflon (PTFE) tape, however, is expensive. (BMW Part # : 83 19 9 407 798. $264.95 on www.bavauto.com). Perhaps there is a cheaper alternative? (The BMW tape is 16mm wide and clear.)
(Or, play the music loudly.)
Good luck.

P.S.: My shop foreman told me to perform the following test to see if the door seals are causing the squeaks: roll the window down just a bit. If the noise stops, it's the door seals. (I'm off to the store to buy some Goof Off.)
