okok.. forget the 'weight' part..
who doesn't use the floor mats because it just looks nicer or same without it?
or find it clumsy to clean because dry sand often get below the mats, which means you have to clean the mat, than lift the mat and clean the floor too?
hmmmm.... just a thought.. think of the the weight thing as just a bonus..

I think it's important to indicate what floor mats we're talking about here. I think mats vary from country to country so it's very possible that the mats the folks in the USA are picturing are not the same as the ones in Korea.
As far as looking nicer, I think the carpeted mats (that match the carpet underneath perfectly) that came with my car look great so no, I wouldn't think of taking them out (except in the winter when I exchange them for the rubber winter mats.)
(Also, I have to admit that when I read the initial posting, my rwb radar went off like crazy!
)

i rented a v6 sonata and honestly it sucked. i rather drive a base civic or base corolla instead.
however, the exterior looks very nice (audish).
all the korean here in the states i know drive s class and higher end bmws while their wife prefers nothing but gucci and LV.
the korean church is a huge networking domiain.

Thank you Rudy, for being considerate enough to consider the possible country variations.
But no.. the standard floor mats are the same ones as the ones that are made in the US
Oh well.. so much for a silly thought..
