So how many of you decided to get rid of the floor mats..?
.. just to lose weight of the car and get more lighter..?
It's not a must equipment and the floor looks just as nice without it..
and on the cleaning issue, people use vacuum machines so it's not a problem..
I figure it could become unneccessary weight to some people, along with other things, if you are dieting the car/

Ok I would normally say that you have gone too far with this.... except that I upgraded my foam/carpet floor mats to the all season black rubber floor mats. When I went to pick up the new mats at the parts counter they told me not to be silly and just back up to the curb and open my trunk so they could use a forklift to put them into my trunk for me. No joke the new set of 4 floor mats weighs about 40 pounds. I like the durability and ease of cleaning but my fuel mileage has dropped down since the upgrade. I guess I might at least change the rear mats back to the lightweight stock ones.
