Glad your okay man, but your car is definitely totaled....but if you decide to get it fixed, There is a very reputable shop in brooklyn which specializes in BMW rebuilds. PM if you want more information.

I'll make a thread in the Other BMW Models forum later this evening ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
But yup, I had to move fast. I'm pretty much stranded without a car.
I was borrowing the GF's 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis for a week. I love that car, but there is no replacement for a BMW.
I was considering getting a whole slew of things.. among them would've been:
- Subaru BRZ => No-go because of how much of a pain in the ass it is to find one, and when I did find one.. the dude at the dealer was being a real douche. Didn't even want to give me a test drive.
- Cheap commuter car + buying a beautifully restored BMW e30 convertible.
- e93 3-series convertible (328i)
- e92 3-series coupe (335i)
- 1-series convertible
Decided I wanted the hardtop convertible more than the engine oomph. After a crapton of driving around and endless phone calls with dealers, I finally found what I wanted
