Glad you're fine bud, but did your airbags go off? I saw your airbag light thread and was just wondering if the airbags will go off if we have the airbag error thing??

In this pic, the driver's bag is deployed.

I think the main concern is did the front passenger airbag go off. Based on his thread about the passenger restraint malfunction.

there are seat occupation sensors in the seats. if there isn't a passenger in the seat, the SRS won't deploy the bag.

Yes that is understood. However, he started a thread based on his passenger restraint system malfunction error. We just want to know if the passenger side airbag deployed as a failsafe to that error.

To answer that question - the passenger airbags did not deploy. However, there was no passenger either.
I had fixed that issue a while back by resetting the codes in the computer. Usually when something is a completely legitimate issue, the codes come back right away. When I cleared the passenger restraint codes the second time, they never came back.

Well that was quick. lol Pics now!
Just wondering but how many miles were on the car and what was the payout? You can pm me if you don't want to post it.
I'm just curious to see how much value the E60 currently has.
