I'd get another SMG in a heartbeat but there are is another minor issue I'd like to see addressed in future versions of the transimission:

I would like to see a "winter" switch or some method of telling the transmission that you want to start in second gear "until further notice." Right now, you can start in second but if you come to a stop, the car assumes you want to start in first again. This becomes an even bigger problem when you're trying to rock the car if it's stuck in the snow, etc. (Yeah, I know Heloha, you don't have that problem...)
I would like to have a 2nd gear mode as well. But I don't need it for winter as much. I just like to use 2nd sometimes cause its smoother when traffic is really really bad in NYC.

What is this "winter" thing that everyone keeps talking about?
That's when all that heavy wind and rain drive the beach sand onto the streets. Same rules apply.

Like all crappy weather it's a British concept
I'd just like to point out that most of our crappy weather starts out in the US !

If those damned Floridans would keep thier Hurricanes to themselves we wouldn't get such wet Autumns over here.

Yea, but it's moving away from us then, it's only when it hits that big lump of USA that it bounces back our way.

Nah, it's actually quite fun -- I love winter and snow, especially driving in snow...

I'm with you Rudy.... Just need the right tool for the job.

I had lots of fun that day in the snow and didn't even need to pull out the chains.

Looks great! I'm sure you know that one of the cool things is that to truly have fun driving in the snow, you don't need very much on the road -- just enough to get things "greasy" is cool too!
