It worked fine but now it does not give me the curb view when in Reverse. Any way to reset this or fix?

On a side note, I pulled into a parking space and apparently went too far forward and when I back out, I ripped the front bumper of at the driver's side corner. It snaps back into place but the very last clip (closest to driver) is damaged. Im guessing this will cost me a pretty penny to have fixed. (entire bumper replaced)???

Have to ask the easy question first: Is the switch for the side mirrors set to the driver's side? If it is set to the passenger side then the dipping mirror is disabled.

As for the bumper, how bad does the bumper itself look? If it is only the clip it may not be too bad...

Set the mirror adjustment switch to the left. Mirror won't move if the position is set for adjusting right mirror. Clever function, but caused some gray hairs for me also before it used search function in this forum.

You cant even notice if you didnt know it happened. The problem is that I KNOW that it happened and it is a bit loose towards the end

Then hopefully they can pull the bumper, replace the clip and reinstall. Might be a couple hours of labor but at least you don't have to replace the bumper.

Any luck on the mirror switch?
