Sensors going crazy with new wheels
I was wondering if anyone has encountered issues with the different sensors on our cars when installing different size wheels and tires.
I installed style 95 wheels 235/35/19 to clear the front and noticed that the 275/40/19 would fit the rear. After rolling 100ft or so my dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Dynamic drive, and some other stuff.
I switch back to the 18s and no issues.
Does anyone know if i fix my tire ratio to a 30 series in the back if I'll be ok? Seems like the tire ratio threw everything off.
Anyone experience this before? I have a 08 535.

is your car an x-drive?
on rwd cars, 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 are used usually with staggered 19's, and come stock on 550 with 19", which keeps the overall diameters the same front to rear. the sizes you are running, vary a lot in diameter, so the front wheels are spinning a lot faster than the rears. your rear tires are over 2" bigger in diameter than the fronts. that is probably screwing with the traction control and dynamic drive, since those systems monitor wheel speed.
your tires:
stock 550 19" tires:

I'll be trying 30 series this week and hope it works.
Thanks
