Default Are my lights 6K or 8K?

One of my lights is brighter then the other so I'm going to order a new set...

I love my lights but are they 6000k or 8000k? It's very slightly blue so I'm unsure.

Also is it okay to order bulbs from eBay? I was looking at purchasing from 2 8000K Ultra Blue D2S D2R HID Xenon Bulbs Replace Stock 4300K Headlights | eBay seller.

i am almost positive they are not 8k.

If you are going to order lights for your car, order them in pairs. i would not go higher then 6k.

They are either 6K or 8K. I thought 8K was white with a hint of blue? My lights fit that description. Is 6K pure white, no blue hints at all?

That's incorrect. 8K would look blue-ish. 6k is with a tinge of blue.

The above actually looks to be 4300k, just old old bulbs. Over time they color shift upwards as they lose lumen.

That is one of my bad bulbs, my other headlight bulb is is slightly blue.

Here is a picture I took 5 minutes ago, the angel eye is different because I changed the bulb for those since then.

D2S thoughts?

2 6000K Ultra White D2S D2R HID Xenon Bulbs Replace Stock 4300K Headlights | eBay

If these are bad quality bulbs, where do you recommend I purchase reliable ones?

Is your car 2004? If not, your car doesn't use D2S bulbs.

And I stand by what I said. If those are still the original bulbs, they're aged to hell, and it wouldn't be a surprise that they are 4300k, just color shifted really upwards.

Yes my car is 2004 BMW 525i, I don't really know the term of D2C or not. I'm almost positive that mine is HID equipped? Any way I can confirm? Through VIN or something similar?
