Don't try to pull it out. Take it to your Michelin man. They will advise the best remedy. Plugs are fine in my experience. They have to take the tyre off the rim. Plugged a Michelin some years back and then did another 30,000k on it. Had to plug a Goodyear Wrangler on my Allroad and kept driving on it until the next tyre change with no hassles at all. But...I think after they plug them they put a tube in, how that affects them going on the front, I'm not sure. The main thing is to get it looked at.
