what a shame. such a nice looking E60... well at least its totaled so onto newer and better things!
Do you mind sharing the insurance payout? From a couple of totaled E60 posts in the past it seems like the E60 is retaining its value with insurance companies.
oh yea and how much for the audio system?

That really sucks Chris, instead of parting out get the E60 M5 then install as much as you can back into it. At least then you can remain a valuable contributing member here

Chris -
An accident like this is very heart-breaking especially when our cars become a part of our lives, our thoughts and essentially of us. I am sure you will move on to bigger better things, and keep those fond memories of all your installs and mods with you for a long long time.
Glad you are safe buddy. If I were you, I would really take a break and let things settle down, maybe drive a rental for a week or so and make the decision to get the next beast .
Given your knowledge and expertise (and personality ofcourse ), get a M5. We want to see you around.

Sorry to hear about the car. At least you are not hurt. A car can be replaced. Of course the memories or time we've put into the car cannot but this is the lesson of life! I do feel your loss. I remember my first car 1967 Camaro and i felt the same way when we departed

So sorry to hear man, I know you and I were chatting about our transmission issues and all. From the pics, it didn't look like a right off though. I'm glad you are ok and good luck on your next purchase.
Take care man!
