Sorry to hear about this man, your car was a stunna! Glad you came out of it ok. No matter what happens just promise all of us that you're not leaving the e60 fam!! Even if they total the Goblin, you gotta put that chedda on another e60. With all of the knowledge you have now, you'll know exactly what to look for, listen for, options...all that. You sound like me, always sneakin a peek at my whip. Best lookin cars on the road to this day (including the F10...still not feelin it :thumbsdown: )!!! So I know you can't live without one to look at and drive and MOD...of course! Keep us posted, and if the wait gets to be too long and unbearable you can always fly out to Phoenix and do some mods on mine to help pass the time

My Ride: 2008 535i LCI with sports/premium package, Sports trans with paddle shifters, CF emblems, JB4 Software, Dinan Exhaust, Navigation, M5Tech body kit, Carbon wrap interrior trim and CIC Controller.
Oh Chris, that really sux! I think had you not matted the color, you would have been more visible to this driver... No, JK! Yeah, I hope all comes back together for you and the car.

Update:
the Goblin: she was officially declared a total loss as of today.
i was allowed to take a couple hours and pull off all my non-permanently attached items. i think im 99.9% sure that ill be getting an E60 M5 or Jaguar XF Supercharged next....so most of these parts/items i wont need so look for a MASSIVE part-out thread to come your way soon in the private member classifieds section.
here is a pick of me hugging her goodbye....my insurance adjuster snapped it for me at the tow yard.

What about other mods that are mounted such as CIC retrofit, amps, etc.? Will they give you time to take those and swap out for stock?

I took damn near everything out....
-CIC system: screen all wires, CIC contorller, console trim, dash trim....i had all my MASK parts and trim to replace it with....easy swap (for me)
-audio system, alphine amp, 12' sub, all wiring
-LCI tails and OEM wiring kit - swapped back in my old Taillights
-OEM M5 mirrors - swapped back in my OEM mirrors
-OEM Rubber floor mats
-RPI Scoops
-Dinan High Flow Air Intake - swapped back in my original air filter box
-Motorcepts 5w RED LED angel Eyes
-M-Teck kick plate
Some stuff i couldnt take - M5Tech front bumper, M Tech side skirts, M Tech rear bumper, Orion V2s (that one hurt because they are $250 down the drain now), my Custom wheels i couldnt take unless i had some wheels & tires to replace them with....and since only the fronts are usable....i had to walk away from them....kinda pissed because they retail for over $1000 each...
not sure on the next car right now....this all happened way too fast
