Yesterday i get a call from the BMW dealership that my transmission woes are an easy fix via a full software update....im on top of the world. I make plans to go to the dealer on Saturday morning. Thats the good news...
now the bad......this morning a guy makes an ill-advised left turn into oncoming traffic and broadsides my car....sending me off the road and onto the curb.
rear axel broken in two places....leaking fluids....both rear wheels completely trashed, rear driver side door wont open.
me: stiff neck and a broken heart. the other guy was in a new black Acura TSX...completely totaled his front end. but he walked away fine thankfully. i wont be too mad at him, he did total his car too....and got a ticket for causing the accident.
hopefully a body shop can get her back on the road....i feel like i just lost a family member, i had no idea i was this damn attached to this car.....like to an unhealthy extent maybe lol. im the kind of guy who cant walk by the garage or driveway w/o sneaking a peak at her....smh.

Man that really sucks! You have such a beautiful e60 and I love your vinyl wrap! I hope it gets fixed back to factory spec and hopefully there isn't any frame damage. Also, hope your neck gets better man... Keep us posted...

That sucks.
Impact was so hard it opened the gas tank cover? Bless your heart cuz a jacked up front end woulda been the least of that dude's problems if he had done that to me.
