With the ignition on and car stationary, go into the i-drive> vehicle settings> RPA>Reset/initialise>YES
It will show initialising
It will take some 20 miles of driving before it shows 'active'

Press The i-Drive Button down on the main menu
Then a green screen appears with a whole list of items,
Then click vehicle settings,
once you click it you have to push i drive controller up to scroll within its own menu,
either your system would be FTM or TPM, then when your at a standstill stop, you will be able to click the reset FTM or TPM , then click it to confirm resetting.
Drive away, and wait for it to reset,
Enjoy
BTW welcome to the board, hope this write up helps.
