You may need a tip adapter like Scosche ... Apple changed the wiring configuration on newer iPod.

My Ride: 2004 545i TITANIUM GREY II on Black Dakota Lthr, Comfort Seats, Sports PKG, Premium PKG, Active/Dynamic Drive, NAV, Winter Package.

Is that also why I'm not getting the BMW logo on the iPOD?

i think it depends on the model, older ipods showed the logo. it defenatly don`t show on my iPhone.

I bought the connector and now I can see the iPod Touch is charging (Good Sign!) I have to visit the STEALER next week for activation. Thanks again for your help and everyone else.

This is ridiculous!!! I called the dealer this afternoon to book the car for activating the iPOD, they want $258 + Taxes for the activation only! Is this how much it really cost to activate???
