hi..
i would like to order 2005 545i.
but the thing is as i see the internet, i can see some 5s with M-sport package.
so i went to BMW german site and i got the pricelist and option code for M-sport.
i tried to compare the option codes and the option codes between US or Canadian and European are same.
so i am wondering that if i give the option code of m-sport package to the salesman, is this possible to get 545i with m-sport package?
I have 330ci now, and when i order my car, somebody said that i could get the MD-player in order to put the option code...
is this true??
another question is i might get the car with fully-loaded options.
Dynamic Handling Package=> Active Steering, Dynamic Drive
Sport Package(if M is not possible)
=>Sport Suspension, Leather Sport Steering Wheel, 18" rim....
Premium Package
=> Comfort seat, skibag, heated seat for front and rear, PDC, Sound System
Navigation Package
=> Navigation, Voice control
Ventilated Seats
Head-Up Display(I am not sure yet)
Rear Sunshade..
Is SMG good to have with?

Well, it sounds like you have some decisions to make. Suffice it to say that you're going to love this car, no matter what flavor you choose.
Since I'm one of the ones who's completely sold on SMG, I'll link you to the SMG FAQ thread which will point you in many directions so you can learn all about this wonderful transmission choice. It's clearly not for everyone so be sure to read through all the links so you can make an informed decision that will meet your needs.
Good luck and feel free to ask us anything...

SMG is a good option if you want to be in control of shift points. Otherwise, for an automatic. When I drive an automatic after six months of SMG, I find myself trying to do paddles to get the thing to shift when I want it to - usually quicker.
